HOW TO MANAGE TIME AS A PART-TIME CODER & STUDENT?

✔Tips & Ideas

How often do you get problems in your schedule as a part-time coder and student?

Well for many of you that might be a problem and some of y'all might have figured it out, so today in this blog. I will be discussing some points to manage time and excel in both school and coding! let's begin -

1) It can be hard to resist to do daily activities during exams, well the more you will think about it you will have troubles resisting it so you can try this method -

a} Take 15-minute breaks after studying for 1 hour or more b} In these breaks you can relax, code, blog, etc c} But I recommend many people not to do many screen activities in these breaks because this may affect your workflow ( like forgetting what you studied and spending extra time on their device) it's different for everyone.

2) Identify what distracts you and get rid of it for example social media and other things. In this way, you don't take any breaks in between, study continuously and when you are done you can code and do whatever you want and later revise (this is a really popular method and easiest )

3) Speaking of social media, during exams many people suggest you delete your social media, disable it and more, but here I won't be telling you what to do to your social media. I have s simple method. Nowadays we all know that resisting social media is hard so in this case, what you can do is the pretty simple just sign out of each one and log back in when necessary or in those breaks

4) Only Do One Thing at a Time because if you try to do everything at once you won't get done with any of it.

5) Start early we all have heard those quotes that “Successful people wake up at 4 am” “Waking up early is the only way to be productive.” but to be honest, everyone has their own way of working and these kind of phrases are only for some kind of people, others might work differently ( for instance some people might be more productive at night and wake up late .)

6) Be confident in your working schedule, it's been proved that confidence is the key to success and it's true, I agree with this saying. If you are not confident with your schedule then most of the time you will just be creating a new one or stop going according to it!

7) Give yourself enough time to study. Don't wait until the last moment to study for an exam. There might be enough time but studying at the last moment should never be on your list. The last moments before exams should be kept for revision instead

8) The way you revise the subject plays a really vital role in exams, even if you are confident at least you should revise once because there is nothing to regret about last-minute revision, this may also help you find out errors that you forgot or didn't notice while learning and this revision period shouldn't be disturbed from 15-minute breaks or something else

9) Please keep in mind while making your schedule never forget about the revision period as I have mentioned before it plays a vital role in how you perform in your exam, it also helps build self-confidence

10) Even if you have done all the tips I gave, you are confident on your schedule, you revised, prepared well for the exam but you are not self-confident your exam answers and preparation, this is going to majorly affect the way you write your exam so you should try not to get nervous and believe in your self, in this way also you can pass the exam with flying colours
