Fast typing - A skill , an ability to type faster , increase your wpm (words per minute) well that's the definition of fast typing in simple words and now let's cut to the main point , why should you learn to type fast ?

There are a lot of benefits of learning to type fast , like you can get rid of work easily , and much more . This can be a useful skill of a lot of professions , not only for programmers but also for other professions like -

Business - You can type fast your documents and use this skill for more ! Medicine - You can easily type the prescription and reports Engineering fields - Well in engineering there are a lot of fields not all of them may use this skill as much as the other for example - software engineers may use this skill more than a civil engineer , it depends on the circumstances to be honest . Now if you learn to type fast you can get rid of some coding hours and , take the extra time for something else or relaxing

(the faster you type = you finish code faster and can get rid of work )

and this skill is used in many other professions and I haven't even mentioned half of them !
